Eva, a Julian graduate (2016) has created a great blog that has the tagline “A collection of useful information for students from students.”
Her recent post is all about opportunities to volunteer. "I'm working on creating a list of community service and extracurricular activities our high school students can be apart of. Let me know if there's something I missed that needs added to it." She has compiled quite a comprehensive list and she is happy to add to it any great ideas you might want to share. I’ve noticed that many students have a negative feeling on being apart of actives that qualify for either/both. The solution is to be apart of what you love, what you’re interested, and test the waters until you find what you love! You never know what you may discover about yourself once you get involved. They are also a really great ways to get real world and future job experience.
